CCA wishes to express our gratitude to Mary Harris-Miller, LCSW, and to Rachel Forbes, LCSW for their enlightening and inspiring June 18th training on "Continuing the Conversation: Becoming An Advocate for Asian and Black Transracial Adoptee Justice". Participants commented that they "Loved that Mary and Rachel provided both the macro and micro lens" and the training made them "More confident to encourage families to have those difficult conversations" and was an "Excellent discussion on the impact of racism on adoptees, adoptive families and policy ".
